Strengthening Teacher Competence in Addressing Student Learning Difficulties through a Deep Learning Approach at UPTD SDN 16 Bireuen
A Community Service (PKM) activity was conducted under the theme "Addressing Student Learning Difficulties through the Deep Learning Approach at UPTD SD Negeri 16 Bireuen." The initiative aimed to assist teachers in understanding and implementing a pedagogical approach capable of effectively addressing students' learning difficulties. The Deep Learning approach emphasizes student-centered, meaningful learning through activities such as critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, reflection, and active student engagement in the learning process. Through outreach and training sessions, teachers gained insights into instructional strategies that enhance student motivation and comprehension. The results indicated that teachers began to appreciate the importance of creating active and enjoyable learning experiences. Furthermore, students demonstrated increased participation, greater confidence in asking questions, and improved understanding of the learning material. However, challenges remained, such as limited technological facilities and the need for continued guidance for teachers to implement the Deep Learning approach optimally.
