Determining agricultural potential is fundamental to sustainable land management and agricultural planning. Remote sensing data is increasingly valuable as an avenue for agricultural potential due to the cost of traditional methods (surveys, in-situ measurements, soil testing, etc). ImageCLEF AI4Agri 2026: Subtask 1 is concerned with the prediction of viticulture potential in Southern France. The DS@GT ARC's submission for Subtask 1 introduces an ensemble of U-Net and a Geospatial Foundation Model (Prithvi-2.0). Our best model achieved a $\pm$1 accuracy of 68.32 on the leaderboard, ranking 2nd among 7 teams. The implementation for this work is publicly available at https://github.com/dsgt-arc/imageclef-ai4agri-2026 .
Wildfire detection from satellite imagery is a semantic image segmentation problem that has proven to be difficult due to challenges such as class imbalance, feature complexity, and atmospheric interference. In this paper, we build on the foundational U-Net image segmentation mod…
Geospatial foundation models pretrained on satellite imagery promise broad generalization across remote sensing tasks and regions, but their geographic transferability has not been systematically tested, especially in agriculture applications. This paper presents a controlled ben…
Over the past decades, the frequency of global wildfires has been increasing steadily. Therefore, if the fire can be detected and precisely located at an early stage, the potential hazards caused by it can be minimized to the greatest extent. The machine learning methods based on…
Agricultural field maps are often proprietary, incomplete, or outdated, yet they provide the spatial framework for crop monitoring, production accounting, and land-conversion analysis. This study presents a reproducible workflow for mapping farmland extent and visible boundaries…
Foundation models provide powerful representations for brain MRI analysis, but their predictions remain difficult to interpret in anatomically meaningful terms. Clinical assessment of brain MRI is commonly organized around anatomically defined structures and regional abnormalitie…
How robust and generalisable are pathology foundation models and have their scaling limites been reached? We benchmarked twelve pathology foundation models (PFMs) and ResNet baselines using our Robustness Evaluation and Enhancement Toolbox (REET) across eleven clinically realisti…
