Collaborative Immersive Environments for Viability Research

Serhii Hostiunin

Collaborative Immersive Environments for Viability Research represent a new generation of scientific ecosystems designed to support collective exploration of viability within the framework of Vitology. Unlike conventional virtual laboratories intended primarily for individual experimentation, collaborative immersive environments integrate multiple participants, intelligent computational agents, digital twins, predictive simulations, and interactive visualization into unified research platforms. The paper discusses the conceptual architecture of collaborative immersive environments, their technological foundations, mechanisms of synchronized interaction, intelligent coordination, distributed experimentation, and interdisciplinary knowledge integration. Potential applications are considered in systems science, ecology, medicine, engineering, organizational management, education, sustainability research, and artificial intelligence. The study argues that collaborative immersive environments significantly enhance scientific productivity by enabling coordinated investigation of complex adaptive systems, accelerating hypothesis generation, supporting collective interpretation of viability patterns, and facilitating global scientific collaboration. Keywords Vitology; collaborative immersive environments; virtual collaboration; artificial intelligence; digital twins; collective intelligence; interdisciplinary research; immersive technologies; viability; Space of Harmony; intelligent scientific platforms; collaborative scientific environments.
